In 2013, the residents of Grindleford organised a new Cyclosportive event to raise funds for the Community Shop – the Grindleford Goat. It took place in September as part of the inaugural Peak District Cyling Festival. It is now held every year in September with the aim of raising money for developments in the shop and other village causes.
Another successful event was held in September 2022 and we look forward to running the event again in 2023.
